SEO is the acronym of Search Engine Optimization, and it's main purpose is to help businesses have an optimized website that can be found by people through Search Engines. It is the practice of optimizing a web site by improving internal and external aspects in order to increase the traffic the site receives from search engines. So, for example, let's say that you own a shoes web site, you would like to be in the first positions when somebody searches in Goole for "Buy shoes online" or "Online Shoes Store", and so on.
