Semantic web and SEO
The word semantic stands for "meaning of” a semantic web site is a web site with meaning, it is the new way to make web pages so search engines can understand them
Semantic web, (sometimes called Web 3.0) is a way to describe the elements within a page, giving semantic (meaning) to parts of the page, and to the way these pages are linking together, this could be translated to a model (taxonomy).
For example, Schedule related events; each event has a date and a description. This model could be applied to thousands of similar events pages, semantic web can describe these elements as Schedules, events, dates, and event descriptions. With these elements, there will be the possibility to search for events around the web, for example, searching for events on the 4th of July, the semantic model can help make inferences about the data.

For example, if someone is looking for "what happened on the 4th of July?" The search engine will return information related to the description of this event.
Imagine what will happen if we convert our current online catalogs to a web 3.0, semantic web? , you could search for a "cheap used Volvo" and there will be a lot of related results.
These relationships could be described using XML as the data containers, and RDF (Resource Description Frameworks) as the model to describe the XML data meaning.
SEO companies, researches and search engines have an important role in the creation and evolution of semantic WEB, the first to be called are Google and Yahoo. Emerging companies could take advantage of it first, SEO companies describe the content of the page using meta tags, anchor texts, alt attributes, and RSS so they will be the first who start writing Resource Descriptions, in the same way, search engines have to understand and process the RDF+XML files to return better results to the users.
A Semantic Agent is software created to collect and analyze the data and meaning, this process is called service discovery. So agents have to spider, collect, analyze and infer from the semantic web.
