According to Matt Cutts, the Google's official voice, Google Caffeine is ready to go live on December 2009, and Junuary 2010. Caffeine is a big relaunch for the google engine, so we are expecting big changes in this release.

A Little research within the  results we found in the now discontinued "Google caffeine sandbox" we found these major changes:

  • Improvement in social search, Google is now being able to search deeply in social sites like Facebook and Tweeter.
  • Domain Age relevance will be increased.
  • Even more importance in the anchor texts, Google is becoming too exact (more relevance).
  • More relevance to News and  Fresh content
  • Faster results
  • Added "inline" sitelinks for large single pages (well, this is already added)

I think it's just the same Google but improved, no major UI changes, just speed and performance improvements.
